How long does it take to get?
Your Addable ships from North Carolina in one easy to manage box, and we’ll send you a tracking number once it leaves the factory. Since we make everything to order, most customers receive their mattress 10 to 14 days after placing an order. FedEx has a great tool — FedEx Delivery Manager– to help give you some control of the delivery process. Go to FedEx.com for more information .

How does the Addable mattress get delivered to my home?
We use FedEx Ground as our carrier and they deliver right to your home, just like UPS Brown. Your Addable ships from North Carolina in one easy to manage box, and we’ll send you a tracking number once it leaves the factory. If you try to track your order immediately you may get a prompt such as “no record at this time”. This is normal. The tracking number may not recognized by FedEx until later in the evening, e.g.: between 7pm and 10pm.

When will my mattress arrive?
Most customers receive their mattress 10 to 14 “business” days after placing an order. You should allow extra time for holidays [and associated “extra” days we may be closed]. Severe weather can also be an issue, but this isn’t limited to our shipments. If there is an unexpected delay we will notify you.

Unfortunately we can’t guarantee when the packages will arrive. FedEx controls the process once the boxes leave our shipping dock. They do a pretty good job of meeting our expectations but anecdotally — across all their worldwide shipments — there is a 2% hiccup rate. You can can always email support@addable.com if you think a package may be lost and we’ll do our best to help figure out what’s going on.

Can I change the delivery day?
There’s a great tool, FedEx Delivery Manager, a free service that gives you some control of your shipment once your tracking number is in the system. The online tool [and app] lets you customize delivery time; deliver to another address; hold at FedEx Location; provide delivery instructions and more. There may be incremental charges involved, e.g.: if the shipment needs to be routed to a different depot; etc. We’ve heard that the service may not be available if you’ve been at your [new] address less than 90 days, but you may want to give it a try in any event.

If you’re in a one-day delivery zone you’ll especially want to give FedEx any specific instructions in a timely manner.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Canada, et al?
Only the contiguous USA. We only ship Addable mattresses to the continental USA, also known as the “lower 48”. Because we use FedEx Home Delivery we are not able to deliver to APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

If we don’t ship to your area try asking friends and neighbors how they get merchandise from suppliers with limitations similar to ours. Your mattress could, for example, ship for free to a friend or relative in a typical transit point, e.g.: Miami, Seattle, Los Angeles, etc. You would then coordinate with that individual to get your mattress the last “mile” via a freight forwarding or consolidating service.

You’ll be responsible for any costs and logistics to get your mattress beyond our stated delivery zone.
